Sacred Sounds

One of the most interesting things in this universe of vibration is sound. The limited spectrum of frequencies which are audible to our human ears is enough for this blog, but with new emerging technologies these days I will have to cover some other domains such as ultra-sonic frequencies.
So what are sacred sounds and how is it that certain frequencies of vibration can be extremely powerful and even change our state of consciousness. The answer to these questions is getting more and more detailed as the years pass on and our technology and computer analyzing power becomes greater.
Yet with all of that we still haven’t matched the depth of understanding on this topic that the ancient sages had. They preserved their realization for centuries and refined and perfected various practices concerning these sacred sound such as chanting and mantra recitation.
